Living Online Lab is an nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching and promoting Internet Studies worldwide.
Our goal is to empower youth by helping them become knowledgeable, engaged, and critical digital citizens.
To achieve this goal, Living Online Lab has worked with teachers and academics to create a curriculum covering more than 30 modules, each comprising lesson plans and curated multimedia resources about key aspects of the Internet:

3. Digital Media Literacy: Digital Reading & Writing – Remix Culture – The Digital Media Revolution – Online Propaganda – Memes – Smart Search & Research – Wikipedia – Knowledge and Information in the Digital Age
4.The Dark Side of the Web: Cyberwarfare & Cyberterrorism – Cybercrime – The Dark Web
5. The Web We Want: From cyberutopianism to digital dystopia - the future of the Internet explored.
This unique, interdisciplinary curriculum, that is currently being taught in schools in the US, Canada, Africa, and the Middle East, has been described by The Atlantic as "the liberal arts of virtual living."
Living Online Lab trustees and advisors include Lord Mitchell (former entrepreneur and founding chairman of the eLearning Foundation), Dr. Tom Chatfield (author, Oxford University academic, and broadcaster), and Anne Collier, a highly experienced educational nonprofit leader.
Harvard University’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society has partnered with Living Online to develop a series of lesson plans for LRNG.com, a youth-focused educational program.
